The Adoption Option Committee Inc. (AOCI) is a Minnesota nonprofit devoted to adoption affirmation and advocacy. In the organization's 25-year history, AOCI has provided support to more than a thousand birth parents. AOCI volunteers have also presented accurate, honest information about adoption to countless schools, organizations and individuals. Most recently, AOCI developed a scholarship program for birth mothers who are pursuing college educations.

Get "In the Know" about adoption
AOCI's teen-focused awareness campaign, called "In the Know," has a
new Web site! The dynamic site now includes the powerful "Life Stories"
short film, as well as an ITK PowerPoint presentation. These tools, which you
can easily download, make it easy for groups to get the facts about adoption
and carry on an educated dialog. Please note that the PowerPoint includes the
