To provide support and affirmation to birth parents, AOCI will be awarding scholarships to applicants who have chosen adoption and wish to pursue secondary and higher education during the upcoming academic year. Agencies offer decision-making counseling, not just adoption planning. There is no cost to the birth parent for counseling services and services are confidential, even for minors. Here are some things to consider when selecting an agency, as well as the next steps in the process.

Choosing the family of your dreams for your baby will take time and careful thought. Identifying the factors on which to base your decision is also necessary. Here are some factors you may want to consider.
• FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
After making an adoption plan, many birth mothers have financial needs that aren't covered by other programs. AOCI may be able to help.
